Mexican Government’s Scholarships of Excellence Application Details 2023:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), is inviting foreigners interested in studying in Mexico at various academic levels. The “Call for Excellence Scholarships of the Government of Mexico for Foreigners 2023” is open to more than 180 countries, fostering global cooperation in education.

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. Degree, as required by the program for which the scholarship is requested.
• Candidates cannot be residing in Mexico during the application period.
• Minimum grade point average of eighty (80) on a scale of 0 to 100 for the last academic degree received.

Scholarship Benefits:

AMEXCID will provide selected applicants with:

1. Monthly stipend for Master’s scholarships, mobility at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, and Master’s level research.
2. Monthly stipend for Doctoral scholarships and research stays at the doctoral and postdoctoral levels.
3. Enrollment and tuition coverage.
4. Medical insurance through the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).
5. Payment waiver for issuing the Mexican visa.
6. International air flight transportation upon successful completion of the academic program.
