This scholarship is available for the academic session of 2023.
Acadia University Scholarship for Current Students 2023 Application Details:
In the fall, we will send an email to all current students (Canadian and International) containing the application for awards, scholarships, and bursaries. There are two deadlines for awards – one before December 31 and another before March 31. Further information can be found in the emails, so please refer to them.
Some awards may require a separate application, and eligible students will be notified as these opportunities become available. It is advisable to check with your department/school to determine if any departmental awards require a separate application.
While most in-course scholarships are awarded annually, a few are renewable for one or more years. Acadia University offers the following scholarships to eligible students with a minimum 95% scholarship average:
- Chancellor’s Scholarship: $40,000 ($10,000/year)
- Board of Governor’s Scholarship: $32,000 ($8,000/year)
- President’s Scholarship: $28,000 ($7,000/year)
- International Baccalaureate Scholarship: $24,000 ($6,000/year)
Acadia University Current Students Scholarships Funding: To qualify for funding, you must register as a full-time student with a minimum of 24 credit-hours for the September to April academic year, meeting the academic criteria of your scholarship annually. Special permission from your Dean is required for a reduced course load of less than 24 credit-hours, provided you remain full-time.

Scholarship, Award, and Bursary funds will be credited to your university account in two installments: September and January. If you have a credit on your account, you can request a cheque from the Office of Student Accounts through the Hub by selecting Student Account Refund under Student Account Services.
