University of Montreal International Student Scholarship Program 2024

The University of Montreal invites applications for its International Student Scholarship Program in Canada. This new initiative aims to exempt international students from additional tuition fees, attracting the brightest talents worldwide to one of the premier francophone research universities globally. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria for the International Student Scholarship at the University of Montreal in Canada:

  • International students applying for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses.
  • Full-time enrollment in a study program throughout the academic period.
  • Holders of a study permit, excluding permanent residents or Canadian citizens.
  • Not eligible for any other tuition waiver under different policies or measures.

  • Level A: $11,998 per year (30 credits) or $5,999 per session (15 credits) or $399 per credit
  • Level B: $5,718 per year (30 credits) or $2,859 per session (15 credits) or $190.60 per credit
  • Level C: $2,000 per year (30 credits) or $1,000 per session (15 credits) or $66.67 per credit

Master Scholarship Benefits:

  • $9,420 per year (45 credits) or $3,140 per session (15 credits)

Doctoral Scholarship Benefits:

  • $19,339 per year (45 credits) or $6,546 per session (15 credits) for the total study duration.

Application Process: After accepting the admission offer, the University of Montreal will notify applicants of the scholarship amount via email. Applicants should print and save this document. Subsequently, they should send the “Description of the Relative Status of Copyright Exemptions for Research Materials” to the International Foreign Form, available on the Student Center platform.
