PROJECT MANAGER: Software Development
A Financial Services company is offering an opportunity for a Software Development Project Manager within the Marketing environment. The role involves managing a software development project, potentially encompassing the construction of a website, establishment of policies, and onboarding of suppliers onto the new platform.
Scope:
- Oversee the development and delivery of a Broker evaluation tool.
- Manage stakeholders in the Systems and Business areas.
- There\’s a potential assignment of another ERP initiative to this role.
Critical Attributes:
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects in systems and business.
- Comfortable managing senior stakeholders.
- Self-starter capable of developing plans and managing budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project tools.
- Experience with traditional waterfall methodologies for delivering systems and business projects.
- Residing in Johannesburg with a willingness to travel to Discovery’s office.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
