The Federal Government\’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program, an essential component of the Renewed Hope agenda, is designed to cultivate Nigeria\’s technical talent pool, driving our digital economy and establishing Nigeria as a major talent exporter.
The initial phase of the program, carried out in partnership with NITDA, will encompass various stakeholders, including fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations. This initial phase will adopt a fellowship model, conducted in collaboration with NITDA. We will identify individuals with a keen interest in specific skills and sponsor their training costs through accredited training providers participating in the program.

Following the Ministry\’s 1%-10%-100% implementation strategy, this initial phase strives to train and position 30,000 technical talents, constituting 1% of our overarching objective. The implementation will adhere to the framework collaboratively developed with essential stakeholders, including government agencies, training providers, educational institutions, development agencies, and the private sector.
