Scholarship Value/Inclusions/Duration: Clarendon Scholarships cover full tuition and college fees. Full-time scholars also receive a generous annual grant for living costs, with a minimum of £15,009 for the academic year 2020-21. Part-time scholars receive a study support grant to assist with non-fee costs, with part-time DPhil scholars expecting at least £2,502 and part-time Master’s scholars expecting at least £5,003 in the academic year 2020-21. Scholarships are typically awarded for the entire period for which tuition fees are applicable to the University, aligning with the length of the respective courses.

Clarendon Scholarships are granted based on outstanding academic merit and potential to graduate students worldwide. Open to all subject, the scholarships are available to candidates applying for a new master’s or DPhil course by the January admissions deadline.

Application Instructions:

When applying for a full- or part-time master’s or DPhil course at Oxford by the January deadline for your course, you will automatically be considered for a Clarendon Scholarship. No additional documents specifically for the Clarendon Scholarships are required. There is no separate scholarship application form. Ensure you apply before the January deadline (7 or 21 January 2024) for your course to be considered for the scholarship.
