Boise State University USA Graduate Assistantships 2024
Boise State University in the USA is now accepting applications for Graduate Assistantships for the year 2024. This scholarship opportunity is open to international students pursuing graduate-level programs in various subjects offered at Boise State University. All eligible candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for the USA Graduate Assistantships 2024.
Founded in 1932 by the Episcopal Church, Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho, has evolved into a public research institution. Initially established as an independent junior college in 1934, the university has been granting baccalaureate and master’s degrees since 1965, eventually becoming a public institution in 1969.
A Graduate Assistantship (GA) at Boise University provides a unique opportunity for students to collaborate with different departments within the College of Business and Economics (COBE) or elsewhere on campus while pursuing a graduate degree. COBE graduate assistants may engage in various activities, including:
- Academic research and faculty support
- Tutoring undergraduate students
- Teaching undergraduate classes
- Assisting with event coordination and marketing for COBE through the Graduate Business Studies Office
Scholarship Benefits: The Graduate Assistantship includes a full waiver of tuition and fees, a stipend of approximately $9,400 for the academic year, and requires 20 hours of work per week throughout the semester. Some GA awards may be available during the spring semester only. Contract renewal is not automatic, but students have the option to apply for a second year.
Eligibility Criteria: COBE offers a limited number of GA positions for full-time graduate business students. To be eligible for this award, candidates must:
- Be fully admitted to their degree program
- Attend full-time, enrolling in 9-12 graduate credits during the award period.
