- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must possess valid South African ID documents.
- Must be under the age of 30.

- Accepted into a recognized South African university.
- Entering the first year of study in 2023.
- Minimum overall average of 70% for the current year of study.
- Financial constraints in attending the university.
